After lunch, we boarded a tourist fishing boat in Chagwido Port, which took us out into the open water where we had the opportunity to fish.  Once we anchored, we received a brief demonstration on how to bait the hooks and use techniques to successfully catch fish. After just a few minutes, we already had bites, and eventually, we returned to shore with a dozen fish in our bag, knowing exactly what our dinner would be.

One of the unique features of the port is that along its shoreline, you can see hundreds of squid spread out to dry. When they are partially dried, locals usually grill them and enjoy them with some beer. It was a peaceful day when we visited, with only a few other visitors around. We also encountered some busy workers, and on the terrace of the port's café, we saw an old man painting a cable drum red.

Ebéd után felszálltunk egy turista halászhajóra Chagwido kikötőben ami kivitt bennünket a nyílt vízre ahol lehetőségünk volt horgázni. Miután lehorgonyoztunk, kaptunk egy rövid bemutatót arról hogyan fűzzük fel a csalit és milyen technikával foghatunk ki sikeresen halakat. Néhány perc után már kapásunk is volt, végül egy tucat hallal a zsákunkban szálltunk partra, már nem kellett gondolkodnunk hogy mi legyen vacsorára.

A kikötő egyik különlegessége hogy a partja mentén százával látni tintahalakat kiterítve száradni. Amikor félig megszáradtak, a helyiek grillezve fogyasztják általában sör mellé. Egy nyugodt napon jártunk itt, néhány látogató volt rajtunk kívül, néhány dolgos emberrel is találkoztunk, a kikötő kávézójának teraszán egy idős úr éppen egy kábeldobot festett pirosra.
